Kitesurfing is an extreme sport and should not be attempted without instruction and supervision. Once mastered it is extremely exhilarating with lots of fast runs and lots of airtime, (if you wish), a real adrenaline sport, with a fast learning curve. You should never attempt to kitesurf until you have completely mastered the control of the kite on land. Kitesurfing should not be attempted without a rescue craft at hand. Under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the water day (day 2). • Day 1 - Land Based Learn how to: Launch, land and control foil kites using 4 line handles, bar safety system and depowerable bar. Scud and use a harness. Use a buggy to get used to the sideways pull of the kite. Use water relauncheable kite and learn safety procedure, simulating all the things you will do on the water. • Day 2 - Water Based Learn how to body drag with water relauncheable kite before using the kiteboard. Emergency stop on water. Safety. Self rescue. We use a boat to teach from and are not affected by tide or wind direction, and can move freely around the bay. All equipment including winter wetsuit, buoyancy aid, boots, harness and helmet supplied. • Max 4 persons per course. • 2- Day Course £180 pp • All year round - weekends or weekdays. • Advance booking is essential.
